About the Role
The Expanding Jurisdictions Project Support Officer is responsible for providing support to the Expanding Jurisdictions Team in relation to project coordination, our engagements with external stakeholders and members, and generally performing administrative tasks to support the smooth roll-out of new jurisdictions across EWON.
Key Accountabilities
- Establish and maintain project plans and milestones, support governance processes including risk and stakeholder registers, and prepare required project reports and internal communications.
- Provide secretariat support for internal working groups and external stakeholder/member advisory groups, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking actions.
- Coordinate logistics for stakeholder engagement activities, including meetings, invitations, briefing materials, follow ups, and planning for regional outreach trips.
- Work collaboratively with EWONs Members team to support the onboarding of new members, including organising training and materials.
- Assist the Communications team in the development, distribution and promotion of resources, including factsheets, website content, and social media posts.
- Assist in preparing internal resources about new jurisdictions in collaboration with Knowledge Management, Learning & Capability, and Dispute Resolution teams.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience in a project support role, or administrative role within a project environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including experience in stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other teams and individuals.
- High-level skills in project planning software, such as Microsoft Planner, to establish, monitor and report on activities.
- A proactive, collaborative approach to working with internal and external stakeholders to support project activities.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required to support team activities.
- Computer literacy with high level of skills in Microsoft Office applications.
